    At The Aquarist we take the quality of our fish, as well as our customer service, very seriously. That means we would never ship a fish that we wouldn't want swimming in our own tanks.

    We also make our acclimation suggestions available, so that you properly introduce the fish to your aquarium. Once you receive the fish and they are alive, we cannot be held responsible for their health afterwards. That is why our live-arrival guarantee* ends after you receive them.

    Although it is only the live arrival of our fish that we guarantee, we are always available for questions or concerns that you may have. If you need help with anything, please let us know. We pride ourselves on our customer service and hope every experience with us is easy and fun.

    Note: Discus sizes are not guaranteed. Sometimes a discus may be smaller or larger than the size listed. Typically all discus will be within a quarter of an inch of the listed size. We will not refund or replace any discus that is within .5" of the listed size. Please rest assured we are in business to sell quality fish and build long-lasting relationships with our customers.

    * We guarantee the live arrival of our fish to your door - as long as someone is present on the first attempt of the carrier. We double bag (or more) all fish and use pure oxygen. Our shipping boxes are styrofoam.

    ** If you receive a DOA, we need a picture of the dead fish within 2 hrs of you receiving the fish for us to honor our live guarantee. Shipping costs are not covered under the guarantee.
